Initial Balance breakout
The first hour of the session sets the range. When price commits beyond it, the system takes the break in that direction, long or short, one position at a time.
Risk = the range · target = a multiple of itThe System
No indicators stacked on indicators, no black box. Vesta trades the structure of the New York session itself: it measures the opening range, trades the break, and is flat before the close. Every time below is Eastern.
The cash open. For the first hour the system only observes, recording the high and low of the Initial Balance.
The Initial Balance is complete. Its high and low become the day's decision levels. Now the system waits.
A close through the range high goes long; through the low, short. The stop and profit target are attached in the same moment.
Whatever is open gets closed. No overnight exposure, no gap risk, no exceptions.

Risk = the range · target = a multiple of itA time-based long taken once a week at the Monday open and closed the same afternoon. A simple, tested seasonal edge that needs no prediction.
Enters 9:30 ET · exits by 4:00 PM ETA session hard stop flattens everything at 4:00 PM ET, and an optional drawdown guard exits early if an open trade gives back too much unrealized profit.

Same capital, same markets. Two completely different outcomes.
Dozens of trades a day, chasing every tick.
Bet big to win big, with no real safety net.
A few wins build dangerous overconfidence.
A single run erases weeks of gains.
Back to zero, and back to the start.
The first hour of the session builds the range. The system watches, flat.
Stop and target are computed from the range and attached at entry.
One clean breakout, long or short. Everything else is ignored.
Every position closes by 4:00 PM ET. Losses stay small and bounded.
A few good trades a week stack into a steady curve.

You're trusting software with a live trading account, so we hold the platform to the same standard as the strategy. Nothing entitlement related ever trusts the browser.
Keys are generated server-side with cryptographic randomness, one per account, from a keyspace of roughly 1029. They are never created or checked in the browser.
The bot revalidates your key against the licensing server, which checks your real subscription state. A lapsed plan stops the bot; a renewal turns it back on.
Builds live in private storage. Each download link is signed for your session and dies after 120 seconds, so a leaked link is a dead link.
Subscription state is written only from signature-verified Stripe webhooks. Your card details go to Stripe and never touch our servers.
Every database table enforces Postgres row-level security. Your account can only ever read its own rows, and audit logs accept no client access at all.
Key validation is rate-limited per IP with atomic database windows, and every page ships a strict content-security policy, HSTS preload, and clickjacking denial.
Every validation attempt against the licensing server is logged with its result, so abuse is visible and keys can be revoked without touching anyone else's access.
FAQ
A rules-based session breakout strategy for NinjaTrader 8 futures, delivered as a native strategy you run in your own platform, on your own account. There is no copy trading and no one else touching your money.
Two engines. The core engine measures the first hour of the New York session (the Initial Balance), then trades a close through that range's high or low, with the stop sized to the range and the target a multiple of it. The second is a time-based long taken once a week at the Monday open and closed the same afternoon. Everything is flat by 4:00 PM ET, every day.
Micro index futures: the micro E-mini S&P 500 (MES) and the micro Nasdaq-100 (MNQ), traded intraday on NinjaTrader 8. Micros keep per-trade risk small enough for evaluation accounts.
Every breakout entry is placed with a stop and a profit target attached, sized from the day's actual range. One position at a time, a hard flatten at 4:00 PM ET so nothing is held overnight, and an optional drawdown guard that exits early if an open trade gives back too much unrealized profit. All performance shown is hypothetical and backtested, so it doesn't guarantee future results.
Evaluation accounts fail at boundaries: daily loss limits and trailing drawdown. A system that trades a couple of defined-risk setups per session and never holds overnight consumes far less of that budget than a scalper firing dozens of times a day. The research note walks through the math.

Your license key is generated server-side and validated against your live subscription every time the bot checks in. Downloads use signed links that expire in two minutes, billing state is written only from signature-verified Stripe webhooks, and the database enforces row-level security throughout. Details are in the security section above.
Pick a plan on the pricing page. Your license key and the download are issued the moment checkout completes, and the member docs walk you through setup in NinjaTrader 8 in about ten minutes.
